The Jazz Band will be playing on Sunday, May 19th at Wayne Morse Farm on Crest Drive at 2:00 in the afternoon. It will be a wonderful gig because the Jazz band will play outside in front of the historic house of our esteemed senator. We should be proud of our Spartan Jazz Band musicians for playing out in the community and showing how students at Spencer Butte exemplify high levels of leadership and citizenship.

There will be an Orientation Meeting on Wednesday, May 22nd at 6:00pm in the South Eugene High School cafeteria.  Dave Peterson and Dean Blachly, our new coaches, will talk about the summer training program, schedules, expectations, and other things.  You’ll also have a chance to meet some of our Board.  South Eugene Soccer Camp will take place June 24-27.  This our big fundraiser of the year.  Please encourage your friends and family to sign up! .  You’ll note that we are back with Blue Sombrero for our signup process.  In terms of summer planning, returning players ordinarily work as counselors at the camp.  If you can plan any summer travel around that, it would be helpful.  We appreciate your help in making this camp a successful event for the team and community!  We are also looking for a few volunteers for the season to assist the teams.  We will have more information at the meeting, and opportunities for either ongoing volunteering, or single event volunteering.  Registration information is available at the following link:
