MID-TERM GRADING

The mid-term grading/professional development day has been moved from May 1st to May 15th.

ATTENDANCE AND AUTODIALER

Teachers will enter attendance every Friday by 4:00.  Attendance will be based on students checking in one or more times over the course of the same week (having at least one two-way contact with their teacher) per class.  A two-way contact could be an email (e.g. answering a question after watching a video), a phone conversation, office hours, or submitting class work in Google Classroom.  Families of students marked absent will receive an autodialer call on Friday between 4:30pm and 6:00pm.

8TH GRADE TRANSITION TO HIGH SCHOOL

By now, those of you who are slotted to go to South Eugene HS should have received an email from the school with a letter telling you everything about forecasting. That letter will also be posted on our front webpage. If you have not received this or have additional questions that South has not answered, please contact Margaret Albright. For those of you not attending South, Margaret will be reaching out to you directly over the next few weeks.

SOUTH EUGENE HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER BRIDGE 2020

Summer Bridge is a program designed for incoming 9th grade students. It is currently scheduled to take place Monday, August 3rd through Friday, August 7th from 9:00am to 3:00pm.  Students who complete the Bridge program will earn High School credit for participating.  This is a great way for students to find their way around SEHS, discover how to access important school resources, learn key ingredients of high school success, and more!  Free lunch and snacks will be provided as well as LTD bus passes upon request.  See the attached flyer for more information.  Register online at sehs.4j.lane.edu or mail the registration form (attached) to: SEHS 400 E. 19th Eugene, OR 97401, by Friday, May 15th.
