Kindness Day
Spring Break is Almost Here!
Spring Break is just around the corner—March 24-28! As we wrap up the month, please help us encourage all students to remain mindful of their actions and continue to show kindness and respect in the classrooms, hallways, turf, and cafeteria. Thank you for your ongoing support in fostering a positive school environment. Let’s finish strong before the well-deserved break!
8th Grade Transition to High School
Our 8th graders have started meeting with high school counselors to prepare for their next big step. This is an exciting time, and we appreciate your support in helping them navigate this transition!
Spring Concert
Music lovers, mark your calendars! Our Spring Concert is happening on Tuesday, March 18. Come support our talented students as they showcase their hard work.
Track & Field
The season is in full swing, and our next district meet is coming up on Thursday, March 20, at North Eugene High School. Events begin at 3:00 PM, and participating students will be released at 1:10 PM.
Kindness Day – Important Information
Tentative group assignments have been posted! If your student has not turned in a permission slip, they have been assigned to an on-campus group. There are still some spots available, so be sure to submit permission slips ASAP.
Parents of students without permission slips will receive a reminder email this week.
Deadline for permission slips and group change requests: Wednesday, March 19.
If a change is possible, we will do our best to accommodate requests.
As of now, all students who submitted permission slips have received one of their top three choices.
Final group assignments will be posted after Spring Break, and no further changes will be made after Friday, March 21.
If you have any questions about your student’s group, please check with them directly. If you’re interested in volunteering for this event, there’s still time! Contact Lara Kimball or Margaret Albright at Kimball_L@4j.lane.edu; Albright_M@4j.lane.edu
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to a great finish to the month!
