We are looking for Volunteers for our Annual Walk the Amazon field trip on 10/7/26 from 8:30-12:30. This year students will be walking with their Advisory classes. We are looking for volunteers to walk with each class. The walk distance is 3.4 miles round trip. Volunteers will need to have an approved volunteer application.

Below is a link to a volunteer sign-up for the walk. You can either volunteer with your child's class or sign up to help with any class (which helps if we don't have someone sign up from each class).

We are entering the last week of our whole-school fundraiser and we are very appreciative of our community's support. 

We are on track to reach our goal- but we are not there yet. Our last turn in days are Tuesday and Thursday this week.

Thank you again for your generosity. With our school's general fund spending authorization nearly 50% of what it was last year, this support is critical to providing the experience and support that we strive to provide for our students and families.

In years past the success of the fundraiser has allowed us to eliminate student fees, fund student clubs, support student-driven school campaigns, purchase school supplies, fund service opportunities and kindness projects, provide field trips, include fresh produce and non-perishable food for our annual food drive to support SBMS families, support school needs and operation, provide student support, staff after hours events (like activity nights!), approve most purchase requests from teachers for their classrooms, and keep our family events free (ice cream social, trivia night, movie night, etc).
