SCHOOL YEAR INFORMATION

We want to thank our Spencer Butte Community for your patience as we continue to learn about how the start of our 2020/21 school year will unfold. We will keep you informed of specific information as soon as we know it to ensure everyone has answers as soon as possible. Please make sure to watch for emails from us, more coming soon!

STUDENT SCHEDULES

We are still working on student class schedules and hope to have them finalized by the end of the day Wednesday.  We will send an email when schedules are viewable on ParentVue.

PARENT VUE FOR 6TH GRADE PARENTS AND NEW 4J FAMILIES

We will be emailing 6th grade parents a ParentVue access code over the next week.  ParentVUE is a portal that offers secure, private access to school and student information to help families stay informed about their students’ progress in school. You can access grades, check attendance, review class schedules, communicate with teachers, and more, all from your web browser or mobile app.  If you are the parent/guardian of a 7th or 8th grade student and need access to ParentVue, please email Heather Acharya at acharya_h@4j.lane.edu

FREE ONLINE TUTORING OPPORTUNITY

In the current pandemic, many children have lost access to reliable resources to help their learning. Rotary Interact of South Eugene High School has a solution: online tutoring. Sign up your children to receive help from high school students on a variety of subjects, at no cost! For more information, see attached flyer and visit: https://sehsrotaryinteract.org/blog/tutoring-2/

SCHOOL MATERIALS

We will be scheduling materials pick-up days the week of Sept 13 and Sept 20 (the first two weeks of school). During the material pickup days, families will come to school and be able to pickup all materials and books they will need for the semester. Also, 7th and 8th grade students will get their yearbooks at that time. For 9th grade students who have moved onto high school, we will contact them and have a special pick-up day later in September.
