Track 2026 Info and Registration

Track Participation Requirements

We are very excited for the 2026 track season! In order to participate in track (practices or meets), athletes must have all registration forms completed, current sports physical submitted to the school, and fees paid (or a payment arrangement made).

Sports Physical Information

The track season will begin early March. If you think that your child might be interested in participating, please schedule a physical now. Students must have a physical exam that is no more than 2 years old. We have a school record of latest physical dates, which you may consult if you need verification – call or email Heather Acharya (acharya_h@4j.lane.edu) in the front office. Copies of OSAA School Sports Pre-Participation Examination (phyiscal form) can be picked up in the office or via this link.

Step 2: Pay in office by cash, check and card-or Online in School Pay (Cost is $100.00)

All students are invited to participate regardless of ability to pay.

Track Practices

Coaches are needed in order to run track practices. We are currently hiring, so if we can get our coaches hired, we will begin practices on 3/3/26. Practices are Monday through Thursday:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM
  • Wednesday practices will take place from 2:50 PM - 4:15 PM
  • No practice during spring break

Track Meet Dates

This is the information that SBMS has as of 2/8/26. Specific details about meets will be communicated to families directly from the school.

  • 3/19: SBMS hosts ATA (Track meet at South Eugene High School track)
  • 4/9: Kelly hosts SBMS (Track meet at North Eugene High School track)
  • 4/16: SBMS hosts Monroe (Track meet at South Eugene High School track)
  • 4/23: Roosevelt hosts SBMS (Track meet at South Eugene High School track)
  • 4/20: Sub-District (Track meet at Churchill High School track)
  • 5/7: Districts (Location TBA)
  • 5/15: Meet of Champions (State Meet; Location TBA)
