Welcome Back from Spring Break!

We hope you had a restful and refreshing Spring Break! As we return to school, let’s help our students refocus on learning and reconnect as a community. Please encourage all students to be mindful of their actions and continue showing kindness and respect in classrooms, hallways, the turf, and the cafeteria. Thank you for your ongoing support in fostering a positive and welcoming school environment. Let’s make the rest of the school year strong!

8th Grade Transition to High School

The transition to high school is here! Over the past few weeks, high school counselors have been visiting our 8th graders to share important information about course options and the transition process. South Eugene High School is hosting a Parent Information Night for incoming 9th graders—see the flyer for details, See flyer . Track & Field

📸 Picture Day: Lifetouch will be taking team photos on Wednesday, April 2, at the beginning of practice. Order forms will be sent home with athletes.

🏃‍♂️ Upcoming Meet: The season is in full swing! Our next district meet will take place on Thursday, April 10, at South Eugene High School. Events begin at 3:00 PM, and participating students will be released from classes at 1:10 PM.

Kindness Day – April 23

OSAS State Testing – Week of May 5

This spring, all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will participate in Math and ELA state assessments, while 8th graders will also complete a Science assessment. Spencer Butte will administer OSAS State Testing the week of May 5. For more information on assessments and the opt-out process, visit: 4J Assessment Information.

No School – April 11

📌 Reminder: There will be no school for students on Friday, April 11, as teachers will have a grading day.
